I was born in Moscow and now live in Hamburg, a city in Germany where it almost always rains.
Drawing is my passion, and I have been drawing as long as I know myself. In between, there were a BA and an MA in linguistics. My another passion is the Yiddish language and culture, and I am happy to be a field fellow of the Wexler Oral History Project at the Yiddish Book Center and to teach the language. I speak Russian, English, German and Yiddish.
I have a husband and a son. I love nature, and enjoy it living just around the corner from a nature reserve with roe deer, fields with cows and ponds full of all sorts of geese, ducks and frogs.
